- DcR2 (TNFRSF10D) (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily, Member 10d, Decoy with Truncated Death Domain (TNFRSF10D))
-
Autre désignation
- CD264
-
Sujet
- TNF receptor superfamily member 10d,TRAIL-R4 (CD264, TR4, DcR2, TRUNDD), expressed mainly on CD8+ and NK cells, belongs to receptors of TRAIL, a TNF-like membrane toxic protein that induces apoptosis in many tumour cells, but not in normal cells. TRAIL-R4, however, contains partially truncated death domain, thus it is unable to induce apoptosis and serves as a negative regulator of apoptotic signaling by impairment death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) processing. TRAIL-R4 interacts with death receptor 5 (DR5) in the native DISC in a TRAIL-dependent manner and prevents its corecruitment with death receptor 4 (DR4).,TNFRSF10D, DcR2, TRUNDD, TRAILR4
