Immunogène Rat IgG whole molecule
Isotype IgG
Specificité IgG (H&L)
Attributs du produit RAT IgG Biotin Conjugated antibody detects rat immunoglobulin G.
Concentration Definition: by UV absorbance at 280 nm
Sujet Immunoglobuoin G is a molecule of about 150 kDa composed of four peptide chains. Each IgG contains two identical γ heavy chains of about 51 kDa and two identical light chains of about 26 kDa, thus a tetrameric quaternary structure. The two heavy chains are linked to each other and to a light chain each by disulfide bonds. The resulting tetramer has two identical halves, which together form the Y-like shape. Each end of the fork contains an identical antigen binding site. The Fc regions of IgGs bear a highly conserved N-glycosylation site.
Poids moléculaire 150 kDa
Domaine de recherche Immunology, Secondary Antibodies
Indications d'application Anti-RAT IgG Biotin Conjugated antibody is suitable for immunoassays where specificity to the Rat immunoglobulin heavy and or light chain regions is desired. Anti-Rat antibody has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Rat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:100,000 to 1:500,000 is suggested for this product. Optimal concentrations in immunoassays should be determined by the researcher.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Restore with deionized water (or equivalent)
Concentration 2.0 mg/mL
Buffer 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2
Agent conservateur Sodium azide
Précaution d'utilisation WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Conseil sur la manipulation Aliquot to Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
