  • Indications d'application
Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA, immunoprecipitation and mostimmunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. Recommended dilution: This product has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Glycerol Kinase [Celullomonas species] ina standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG[H&L] (Rabbit) and (ABTS(2,2-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid])as asubstrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1: 1,000 to 1: 2,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested forthis product.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

    Sujet
Glycerol kinase catalyzes the formation of glycerol 3 phosphate from ATP and glycerol. Dihydroxyacetone and L glyceraldehyde can also act as acceptors, UTP and, in the case of the yeast enzyme, ITP and GTP can act as donors. It provides a way for glycerol derived from fats or glycerides to enter the glycolytic pathway. NB - Glycerol kinase obtained from Cellulomonas spp has an observed molecular weight of 128 kDa.Synonyms: ATP:glycerol 3-phosphotransferase, GK, GKD, Glycerokinase
