- Sujet
- FH (Fumarate hydratse) catalyzes the conversion of fumarate to malate. It is a key enzyme in the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle. It exists in a cytosolic form and an N terminal extended form. The N terminal extended form is targeted to the mitochondrion, where the removal of the extension generates the same form as in the cytoplasm. FH also acts as a tumor suppressor.
