  2. loss of PUMA (Montrer BBC3 Anticorps) had no impact on the loss of platelets caused by loss of BCL-XL. It therefore remains to be established whether other BH3-only (Montrer BBC3 Anticorps) proteins play a critical role in induction of apoptosis in platelets or whether their death is controlled solely by the interactions between BCL-XL with BAK (Montrer BAK1 Anticorps) and BAX (Montrer BAX Anticorps).

  3. MLF1 (Montrer MLF1 Anticorps) is negatively regulated by 14-3-3 (Montrer YWHAQ Anticorps) via binding to, and blocking, MLF1 (Montrer MLF1 Anticorps)'s Bcl-2 (Montrer BCL2 Anticorps) homology domain 3 and thereby preventing Bcl-XL from associating with MLF1 (Montrer MLF1 Anticorps).

  4. Genetic and pharmacological inhibition of BCL-W (Montrer BCL2L2 Anticorps) and BCL-XL causes directed elimination of senescent cells.

The influence of chronic ethanol consumption on the expression of the Bdnf (Montrer BDNF Anticorps), Bax (Montrer BAX Anticorps), Bcl-xL, and CASP3 (Montrer CASP3 Anticorps) genes was studied in the brain structures of B6-1473C (C/C) and B6-1473G (G/G) mice that had been obtained on the base of the C57BL/6 strain.

  7. despite its role in Bax (Montrer BAX Anticorps) inhibition, Bcl-xL also primes mitochondria to permeabilization and cytochrome c (Montrer CYCS Anticorps) release.

  8. These findings indicate that eosinophil survival is largely regulated by betac chain-induced NF-kappaB (Montrer NFKB1 Anticorps) activation and subsequent induction of Bcl-x

  9. these data indicate that beta-cell apoptosis is, in part, attributable to the modulation of 5'SS selection in the Bcl-x pre-mRNA by bioactive lipids modulated by iPLA2beta (Montrer PLA2G6 Anticorps).

  10. only loss of both Bclx alleles markedly forestalled tumorigenesis, loss of a single Bim (Montrer BCL2L11 Anticorps) allele overcame this blockade.

  3. The combination of 2-deoxyglucose (2-DG) and ABT-199 initiated cell death through the reduction of myeloid cell leukemia sequence 1 protein (Mcl-1 (Montrer MCL1 Anticorps)) expression and c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1 (JNK1 (Montrer MAPK8 Anticorps)) activation and subsequent Bcl-xL protein degradation.

  6. in addition to MCL-1 (Montrer MCL1 Anticorps), BCL-XL is heterogeneously expressed in HMCLs and patient samples. The expression profile of BCL-XL relative to BCL-2 (Montrer BCL2 Anticorps) and MCL-1 (Montrer MCL1 Anticorps) may be an important predictor of response to venetoclax sensitivity as a monotherapy and in combination with bortezomib.

  7. Mono treatment with lexatumumab was not sufficient to induce apoptosis in pancreatic cancer cells, whereas focal adhesion kinase inhibitor PF573228 significantly sensitized lexatumumab-induced apoptosis. Western blotting analysis revealed that lexatumumab and PF573228 combination treatment increased death receptor 5 (Montrer TNFRSF10B Anticorps) but decreased Bcl-xL expression.

BCL2L1 profil antigène

Antigen Summary

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the BCL-2 protein family. BCL-2 family members form hetero- or homodimers and act as anti- or pro-apoptotic regulators that are involved in a wide variety of cellular activities. The proteins encoded by this gene are located at the outer mitochondrial membrane, and have been shown to regulate outer mitochondrial membrane channel (VDAC) opening. VDAC regulates mitochondrial membrane potential, and thus controls the production of reactive oxygen species and release of cytochrome C by mitochondria, both of which are the potent inducers of cell apoptosis. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants, which encode distinct isoforms, have been reported. The longer isoform acts as an apoptotic inhibitor and the shorter form acts as an apoptotic activator.
