  1. A mutation of Parp also increases NAD+ levels; although, this was only observed in parkin (Montrer PARK2 Anticorps) mutant flies and not in the heterozygous Parp mutants, possibly owing to an increased PARP activity in the parkin (Montrer PARK2 Anticorps) mutants.

  5. Data show that the apoptotic and cytotoxic effects of BL-038 are mediated by the intrinsic mitochondria-mediated apoptotic pathway, which in turn causes the activation of caspase-9 (Montrer CASP9 Anticorps) and caspase-3 (Montrer CASP3 Anticorps), and the cleavage of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP), to elicit apoptosis response.

  6. knockdown of PARP-1 inhibits cell growth and increases sensitivity of U2OS cells to cisplatin, with the increasing drug sensitivity possibly associated with the inhibition of ERK (Montrer EPHB2 Anticorps) signals.

PARP1 profil antigène

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a chromatin-associated enzyme, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase, which modifies various nuclear proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation. The modification is dependent on DNA and is involved in the regulation of various important cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and tumor transformation and also in the regulation of the molecular events involved in the recovery of cell from DNA damage. In addition, this enzyme may be the site of mutation in Fanconi anemia, and may participate in the pathophysiology of type I diabetes.
