Specificité: The antibody reacts with Human J chain as tested by ELISA using purified Human Ig fragments as the solid phase target antigen. The antibody does not detect J chain in intact IgM in ELISA assays due to steric hindrance. In Western blotting techniques SM1013P detects J chain in IgM only in reducing conditions.

Purification: Affinity Chromatography on Protein A.

Immunogène: Human J Chain. Remarks: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line.
