Options
Immunogène The antiserum was produced against synthesized non-phosphopeptide derived from human beta-Synuclein around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 136 (Q-D-Y[P]-E-P).
Isotype IgG
Specificité β-Synuclein (Ab-136) antibody detects endogenous levels of total β-Synuclein protein.
Purification The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.

Autre désignation Synuclein
Sujet Alpha-synuclein also known as SNCA is a protein which in humans is encoded by the SNCA gene. An alpha-synuclein fragment, known as the non-Abeta component (NAC) of Alzheimer's disease amyloid, originally found in an amyloid-enriched fraction, is shown to be a fragment of its precursor protein, NACP, by cloning of the full-length cDNA. Later, NACP turned out to be a human homologue of Torpedo synuclein. Therefore, NACP is also referred to as human alpha-synuclein.
Indications d'application Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.
