- Sujet
- Platelet-derived growth factor D, also known as PDGFD, plays an important role in wound healing. This protein induces macrophage recruitment, increased interstitial pressure, and blood vessel maturation during angiogenesis. This protein can initiate events that lead to a mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis, including influx of monocytes and macrophages and production of extracellular matrix. Recombinant human PDGFD protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli.
