- Sujet
- RAB14 is a member of the RAB protein family, low molecular mass monomeric GTPases localized on the cytoplasmic surfaces of distinct membrane bound organelles. This protein is thought to be involved in vesicular trafficking and neurotransmitter release throughout the body and is expressed at high levels in brain, lung, kidney, spleen and thymus. It is involved in the biosynthetic/recycling pathway between the Golgi and endosomal compartments. Recombinant human RAB14 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. Synonyms: Ras-related protein Rab-14, FBP, RAB-14.
