Human Polyclonal AP2A1 Primary Antibody pour IHC, WB - ABIN6136952
Wu, Xiong, Li, Yang, Ge et al.: Integrated Proteomic and Transcriptomic Analysis Reveals Long Noncoding RNA HOX Transcript Antisense Intergenic RNA (HOTAIR) Promotes Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cell Proliferation by Regulating Opioid ... dans Molecular & cellular proteomics : MCP 2019
Results revealed thirteen novel splice junctions of previously annotated exons. Consecutive nested PCRs led to the determination of the primary structure of seventy-seven novel AP2A1 transcripts, all of which were shown to comprise at least one premature translation termination codon, thus representing nonsense-mediated mRNA decay candidates.
AP-2alpha depletion enhanced apoptosis, demonstrating that disrupting the HIV-1 Nef:AP-2alpha interaction limits Nef-mediated apoptosis.
These results lead to a model for the docking of the full AP-2 tetramer to membranes as bound to Nef, such that the cytosolic tail of CD4 is situated to interact with its binding site on Nef.
A protein encoded by this locus was found to be differentially expressed in postmortem brains from patients with atypical frontotemporal lobar degeneration.
AP2alpha negatively regulates HIV-1 replication in the process of nuclear translocation of viral DNA in the cytoplasm or the perinuclear region.
nef usurps AP-2 complexes to dysregulate Ii (invariant chain (Ii)/major histocompatibility complex class II) trafficking and potentially interfere with antigen presentation in the context of MHC-II
SP-A transiently enhances the basal protein expression of CHC and alpha-adaptin.
AP2 protein expression was regulated in a vitamin A-deficiennt mouse developing eye.
This gene encodes the alpha 1 adaptin subunit of the adaptor protein 2 (AP-2) complex found in clathrin coated vesicles. The AP-2 complex is a heterotetramer consisting of two large adaptins (alpha or beta), a medium adaptin (mu), and a small adaptin (sigma). The complex is part of the protein coat on the cytoplasmic face of coated vesicles which links clathrin to receptors in vesicles. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding two different isoforms. A third transcript variant has been described, but its full length nature has not been determined.
