- Indications d'application

Reacts with solid phase ACTH either captured as part of a sandwich or adsorbed as a solidphase antigen and as such is suitable for serum assay development. Also reactive onformalin-fixed paraffin wax embedded tissue and is therefore suitable forimmunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

- ACTH occurs in cells of the anterior pituitary and in neurons in brain. It regulates the corticosteroid production in the adrenal cortex. Beta endorphin and Met enkephalin are endogenous opiates.
