Indications d'application

Peptide-ELISA: 1/50 - 1/200. In a simple ELISA using 1 g of antigen coated per well, the50 % OD was observed at an antibody dilution of 1/100. With 1 g of peptide-BSA coatedper well the 50 % OD was observed at 1/2500. Under the same conditions the end pointwas observed at 1/80K. Competitive ELISA: pep-BSA plates, coated at 1 g/well, antibodydiluted 1/10K. Pep-BSA displaces in the range 0.1 to 100 μg/mL. The free peptide does notdisplace in this assay system.

Sujet
- Bone morphogenetic protein-10 (BMP10) belongs to the transforming growth factor beta (TGFß) family. BMPs, named for their initial biological activity of inducing ectopic bone formation, have been linked to multiple steps of cardiac development. BMP10 is translated as a precursor protein (preproprotein) with N-terminal hydrophobic leader peptide followed by prodomain and the mature C-terminal region that is released after the cleavage at multibasic motif RXRR. Data strongly suggest that BMP10 is an essential component in modulating cardiomyocyte proliferation and maturation during cardiac ventricular development.Synonyms: BMP-10, Bone morphogenetic protein 10
