Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity ofHuman MCP-3 (100 ng/mL), a concentration of 1-3 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISA: In a Sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/mL ofthis antibody will detect recombinant Human MCP-3 when used with Biotin conjugatedanti-Human MCP-3 antibody (cat. PP1046B) as the detection antibody at a concentration ofapproximately 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. Western Blot: To detect Human MCP-3 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be usedat a concentration of 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondaryreagents the detection limit for recombinant Human MCP-3 is 2.0-4.0 ng/lane, underreducing conditions and 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.

Sujet
- This is a secreted chemokine which attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It is a member of the C-C subfamily of chemokines which are characterized by having two adjacent cysteine residues. The protein is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2, an enzyme which degrades components of the extracellular matrix.Synonyms: C-C motif chemokine 7, CCL-7, MCP-3, Macrophage Chemotactic Protein-3, Monocyte chemoattractant protein 3, Monocyte chemotactic protein 3, NC28, SCYA6, SCYA7, Small-inducible cytokine A7
