Indications d'application: Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [NND50] of the biological activity ofhI-TAC (100 ng/mL), a concentration of 7.0-8.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect hI-TAC by direct ELISA (using 100l/well antibody solution) aconcentration of at least 0.5g/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hI-TAC. Western Blot: To detect hI-TAC by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant hI-TAC is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Sujet: This member of the the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family is chemotactive for interleukin-activated T cells but not unstimulated T cells, neutrophils or monocytes. It induces calcium release in activated T cells and binds to CXCR3. It may play an important role in CNS diseases which involve T cell recruitment and in skin immune responses. It is expressed at high levels in peripheral blood leukocytes, pancreas and liver astrocytes and at moderate levels in thymus, spleen and lung.
