Specificité: This antibody recognises a 17 amino acid residue within the cytoplasmic domain of glycophorin C (GPC), which has recently been designated CD236.

Immunogène: Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids in the cytoplasmic domain of GPC. Spleen cells from immunised Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the myeloma cell line.
