Specificité: This antibody has been used to selectively remove cytotoxic T cells or their precursors, helper T cells and alloantigen activated proliferating T cells. Thy 1.1 is not present on T cells of most inbred mouse strains. In rats Thy1.1 is expressed on fibroblasts and bone marrow cells, but not on peripheral blood lymphocytes. This clone is cytotoxic with rabbit guinea pig complement. Species cross-reactivity: Recognizes both mouse and rat Thy1.1.
