Sujet
- Double stranded RNA specific adenosine deaminase 1 (ADAR1 or DRADA) is an enzyme involved in the editing of mammalian messenger RNAs by the site specific conversion of adenosine to inosine. ADAR 1 is thought to play a role in the editing of transcripts encoding non-NMDA glutamate receptor subunits, the 2C subtype of serotonin receptor, as well as hepatitis delta virus antigen.Synonyms: 136 kDa double-stranded RNA-binding protein, DSRAD, Double-stranded RNA-specific adenosine deaminase, G1P1, IFI4, Interferon-inducible protein 4, K88DSRBP, P136
