Sujet
- SND1 (staphylococcal nuclease and tudor domain containing 1) functions as a transcriptional coactivator and a modulator of RNA metabolism. As a transcriptional coactivator, it acts as a bridging factor between STAT6 and the basal transcription factors, plays a role in PIM1 regulation of MYB activity and is a transcriptional coactivator for the Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen 2 (EBNA2). SND-1 has been identified as part of the RISC complex (RNA-induced silencing complex) and interacts with Ago-2. It is involved in the degradation of hyper-edited inosine containing microRNA precursors as part of the RNA interference pathway.
