Sujet
- Phc1, polyhomeotic homolog 1 (also known as EDR1, early development regulatory protein 1) is a component of the polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1 complex. The PRC1 complex is required to maintain the stable repression of the Hox genes during development. This chromatin-associated protein complex acts via chromatin remodeling and histone modifications. Phc1 has been shown to interact with PHC2, BMI1, MAPKAPK2 and MCRS1.
