    Sujet

Bordetella lipopolysaccharides (LPS) are characterised by the absence of the O-polysaccharide (O-antigen) but have an extended core region and are more commonly termed as LOS. B. pertussis is a non-motile, gram-negative bacteria that is the common causative agent for whooping cough. B. bronchiseptica is a closely related species that is often involved in respiratory tract infection in smaller mammals.
