Specificité: Detects an ~59 kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of FKBP59 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, monkey, bovine, mink, rabbit, hamster and guinea pig (weakly) origins. An additional, unidentified 50 kD band is observed in some cell lysates. This antibody has been shown to block the ability of FK506 to promote neurite outgrowth from SH-SY5Y cells in a concentration-dependent manner between 50 and 100 nM (5).
