- Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and frozen sections. Dilute 1:100-1:200 using polymer or streptavidin -biotin system for 30 mins at room temperature. The optimum dilution should be determined by the individual lab. Specificity and Reactivity: This antibody recognizes CEA n several tumor tissues. Positive Control: Human colon cancer. Cellular Localization: Luminal membrane and Cytoplasmic.

- Sujet
- CEA is highly glycosylated 180 kDa glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion. It is normally produced during fetal development and then re expressed in increased amounts in colorectal, gastric, pancreatic, lung and breast carcinomas. CEA measurement is mainly used as tumor marker to identify recurrence after surgical resection.
