Indications d'application
-
Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 32000. Western blot: 0.1-0.3´μg/mL. Experiments gave bands at approx 75 kDa and 150 kDa inhuman testis lysates and in cell lines HeLa and Jurkat after 0.1 μg/mL antibody staining. The 150 kDa band is explained by glycosylation of this member of the AMPK family. Thisprotein has a calculated MW of 74.6 kDa according to NP_055606.1.
Other applications not tested.

Sujet
- MELK, maternal embryonic leucine zipper kinase, belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. It contains 1 protein kinase domain and is expressed in placenta, kidney, thymus, testis, ovary and intestine. MELK phosphorylates ZNF622 and may contribute to its redirection to the nucleus. It may also be involved in the inhibition of spliceosome assembly during mitosis.Synonyms: KIAA0175, Maternal embryonic leucine zipper kinase, hMELK
