Specificité: Recognizes C16- and C24-ceramide, dihydroceramide, sphingomyelin and phosphatidylcholine in highly artificial lipid overlay test systems. Under more physiological in vitro and in vivo conditions highly specific for ceramide and does not cross-react with sphingomyelin, cholesterol or other phospholipids.

Immunogène: Ceramide (sphingosine-[trans-D-erythra-2-amino-4-octadecene-1,3-diol]). Conjugated to BSA.
