Anti-Contactin Antibody has been tested by IHC and is suitable for use in WB and IP. Expect a band approximately ~120kDa on specific lysates. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Synonyms: CNTN1. F3, Glycoprotein gp135, Neual cell surface protein F3, Contactin-1
Background: Contactin/F3, a cell adhesion molecule, is a glycosylphospatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein that is expressed in neurons and glia. It has been shown to interact with and enhance surface expression of sodium channels Nav1.2 and Nav1.9. Other studies suggest that contactin coimmunoprecipitates with Nav1.3.
