Fonction: Aldo-keto Reductase Family 1 Member C2 / DD2 Antibody

Specificité: DDH2 / AKR1C2 is a member of the aldo/keto reductase superfamily, which consists of more than 40 known enzymes and proteins. These enzymes catalyze the conversion of aldehydes and ketones to their corresponding alcohols by utilizing NADH and/or NADPH as cofactors. The enzymes display overlapping but distinct substrate specificity. This enzyme catalyzes the reaction of progesterone to the inactive form 20-alpha-hydroxy-progesterone.

Purification: 200ug/ml of Ab Purified from Bioreactor Concentrate by Protein A/G.

Indications d'application:

Positive Control: HeLa, K-562, A431, HepG2, A549 cells. Human liver or stomach tissue.

Known Application: Western Blot (1-2 μg/mL), Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (0.5-1 μg/mL for 30 min at RT)(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM Citrate Buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes)Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
