    AA 100-224, Extracellular Domain

    Fonction

Recombinant Ep-CAM / CD326 (Extracellular Domain) (Epithelial Marker) Antibody

    Specificité

Epitope of this MAb is mapped between aa 202-212 of EGP40, which is a 40-43 kDa transmembrane epithelial glycoprotein, also identified as epithelial specific antigen (ESA), or epithelial cellular adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM). It is expressed on baso-lateral cell surface in most simple epithelia and a vast majority of carcinomas. Antibody to Ep-CAM has been used to distinguish adenocarcinoma from pleural mesothelioma and hepatocellular carcinoma. This antibody is also useful in distinguishing serous carcinomas of the ovary from mesothelioma.

    Purification

200ug/ml of Ab Purified by Protein A.

    Immunogène

Recombinant human EpCAM fragment from extracellular domain (around aa100-224) (exact sequence is proprietary)

    Isotype

    IgG, kappa
  • Indications d'application

Positive Control: MCF-7 or HT29 cells. Breast tumor.

Known Application: Flow Cytometry (1-2 μg/million cells). Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (0.5-1 μg/mL for 30 min at RT)(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM Citrate Buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes)Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
