Attributs du produit: UBN1 (Ubinuclein 1, also known as HIRA binding protein) is a ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein that acts as a novel regulator of senescence. UBN1 is involved in the formation of senescence-associated heterochromatin foci (SAHF), which represses expression of proliferation-promoting genes. It is expressed in a number of cancer cell lines and tumors and may be required for replication-independent chromatin assembly. UBN1 is part of a large multi-subunit protein complex that interacts with CEBPA and Epstein-Barr virus BLZF1. It co-localizes with HIRA, PML and SP100 in the PML bodies of senescent cells. When overexpressed, UBN1 accumulates in the nucleus of cells defective for cytokinesis. Ubn1 antibody (pAb) was raised in a Rabbit host. It has been validated for use in Western blot, it has been shown to react with Human samples.
