Mutations in this gene are the cause of the autosomal dominant platelet disorder, platelet-type bleeding disorder-17. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.GFI1B (Growth Factor Independent 1B Transcriptional Repressor) is a Protein Coding gene.
