Épitope: AA 59-178

Specificité: Reacts with human CD48, a 45 kDa glycosyl phophatidyl-inositol (GPI)-anchored cell surface protein. CD48 is strongly expressed on lymphocytes and monocytes and weakly on granulocytes but is absent on platelets, fibroblasts, epithelium and endothelium. CD48 is one of marker for detecting the defects of GPI anchoring structure on the patients with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobulinuria (PNH) and serves as a low affinity ligand for CD2.

Known_Application: Western Blot (2-4 μg/mL), ,Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (1-2 μg/mL for 30 minutes at RT),(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95 °C followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes),Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
