- Sujet
- Background: Sin3A is a part of a histone deacetylase co-repressor complex that functions to stabilize complex members and regulate gene expression through deacetylation of histones. Sin3A acts as a scaffold for a core complex which contains HDAC1, HDAC2, RbAp46, RbAp48, SAP30, RBP1 and p33INHib. Sin3A also associates with the Mad/Max complex to mediate transcriptional repression.
