Sujet
- Background: NS1-binding protein (NS1-BP) plays a role in cell division and in the dynamic organization of the actin skeleton by functioning as a stabilizer of actin filaments via its association with F-actin through Kelch repeats. NS1-BP may be a component of the cellular splicing machinery with a role in pre-mRNA splicing and may mediate the inhibition of splicing by NS/influenza virus NS1A protein. NS1-BP has also been found to function as modifier of the AHR/Aryl hydrocarbon receptor pathway by increasing the concentration of AHR available to activate transcription [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) Q9Y6YO].
