Sujet
- Background: PKD2 is a member of the protein kinase D (PKD) family of serine/threonine protein kinases that belongs to a subfamily of the calcium-calmodulin kinase-like superfamily. PKD2 and its family members are activated by phorbol esters and diacylglycerol generated by PKC activation. PKD2 has been demonstrated to play a role in IL-2 promoter regulation as well as IL-8 production. PKD2 may also be involved in the regulation of trans-golgi network trafficking.
