This antibody binds an epitope between amino acids 370 and 750 of the human PSMA. Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a type II integral membrane glycoprotein belonging to the M28 peptidase family. It acts as a glutamate carboxypeptidase on different alternative substrate. It is highly expressed in cancerous cells and is used as an effective diagnostic and prognostic indicator of prostate cancer.

Application Notes original Clone: The binding characterization of this antibody was done using ELISA. This antibody is also recommended for the detection of PSMA using immunohistochemistry (CN112480260).

Attributs du produit: This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format for improved compatibility with existing reagents assays and techniques.
