Acts upstream of or within regulation of gene expression and skeletal muscle cell differentiation. Predicted to be located in Golgi apparatus and nuclear body. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system, brain, embryo mesenchyme, heart, and sensory organ. Orthologous to human PLAGL1 (PLAG1 like zinc finger 1).
