The JOVI.3 antibody reportedly stains approximately 1-10 % of human CD3-positive peripheral blood lymphocytes including CD410⁺ or CD810⁺ T cells. The variation in human TCR Vβ3 expression correlates with allelic polymorphism in the spacer region of recombination signal sequence. The JOVI.3 antibody is mitogenic for peripheral blood T cells expressing TCR Vβ3.
