- Recombinant CD83 (Marker of Activated Dendritic Cells) Antibody
-
Specificité
- CD83 antigen, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, is a useful marker of mature and activated dendritic cells. These include Langerhans cells in the skin, peripheral blood dendritic cells and interdigitating reticulum cells within the T cell zones of lymphoid organs. Human early pregnancy decidua contains immunostimulatory CD83 antigen positive dendritic cells. Some germinal centre B cells and activated peripheral lymphocytes also express CD83 antigen. CD83 is also used as a marker for Hodgkin,Ä111s lymphoma, Reed Sternberg cells and breast carcinoma.
