Sujet
MRPL11 antibody recognizes mitochondrial ribosomal protein L11, a component of the 39S large ribosomal subunit. MRPL11 contributes to mitochondrial protein synthesis by aiding translation of mRNAs encoded within mitochondrial DNA. Proper function of MRPL11 is essential for oxidative phosphorylation and maintenance of cellular energy metabolism.
Research with MRPL11 antibody has shown that altered expression of mitochondrial ribosomal proteins can impair respiratory chain activity, leading to mitochondrial dysfunction. Such disturbances are implicated in neuromuscular disorders, metabolic syndromes, and age-related decline in mitochondrial efficiency. MRPL11 expression is therefore of interest for studies of energy balance and disease pathogenesis.
Antibodies against MRPL11 are validated for use in western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. These reagents help researchers analyze mitochondrial translation and investigate how ribosomal proteins contribute to cellular stress adaptation.
NSJ Bioreagents offers this MRPL11 antibody to support studies of mitochondrial protein synthesis and energy metabolism.
