Sujet
- Human blood coagulation factor VII is a 50 kD, vitamin K dependent, plasma glycoprotein synthesized in the liver and secreted into the blood as a single chain zymogen of serine protease factor VIIa. Factor VII participates in a cascade of reactions leading to the coagulation of blood and contains two Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) domains. This antibody recognizes an epitope in the first EGF-like domain of factor VII/VIIa. Factor VII participates in the extrinsic pathway of blood coagulation in an Activated form called factor VIIa. Factor VII can be converted to VIIa by Factor IXa or thrombin.Synonyms: Proconvertin, SPCA, Serum prothrombin conversion accelerator
