Synonyms: Alternative macrophage activation associated CC chemokine 1, Alternative macrophage activation-associated CC chemokine 1, AMAC1, C C motif chemokine 18, CC chemokine ligand 18, CC chemokine PARC, CCL18_HUMAN, Chemokine ligand 18, Chemokine dendritic, Chemokine ligand 18, CKb7, DCCK1, Dendritic cell chemokine 1, Macrophage inflammatory protein 4, MIP4, PARC, Pulmonary and activation regulated chemokine, Pulmonary and activation-regulated chemokine, Small inducible cytokine A18

Background: Chemokine(C-C motif) ligand 18(CCL18) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that was previously called PARC(pulmonary and activation-regulated chemokine). CCL18 is approximately 60 % identical in amino acid sequence to CCL3. By analysis of a previously mapped CCL18 from 17q11.2, it is determined that the PARC gene is located within 1 of the 2 clusters of CC chemokine genes in this region. It is expressed at high levels in lung and at lower levels in certain lymphoid tissues, such as the lymph nodes, and is chemotactic for activated T cells and nonactivated lymphocytes. Beside, CCL18 recruits Th2 cells and basophils and may play a predominant role in allergic asthma.

    Gene Name: CCL18

Production: Natural and recombinant human CCL18. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins.

Standard: Expression system for standard: E.coli, Immunogen sequence: A21-A89

  • Indications d'application

Application Note: Useful in Sandwich ELISA for Quantitative Detection of Antigen. Aliquot 0.1 mL per well of the 500pg/mL, 250pg/mL, 125pg/mL, 62.5pg/mL, 31.3pg/mL, 15.6pg/mL, 7.8pg/mL human CCL18 standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1 mL of the sample diluent buffer into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1 mL of each properly diluted sample of human cell culture supernates or serum to each empty well. We recommend that each human CCL18 standard solution and each sample is measured in duplicate.

    ELISA Dilution: 7.8pg/mL-500pg/mL
