Application_Note: Useful in Sandwich ELISA for Quantitative Detection of Antigen. Aliquot 0.1 mL per well of the 500pg/mL, 250pg/mL, 125pg/mL, 62.5pg/mL, 31.3pg/mL, 15.6pg/mL, 7.8pg/mL mouse CCL1 standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1 mL of the sample diluent buffer into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1 mL of each properly diluted sample of mouse cell culture supernates, serum or plasma(heparin, EDTA) to each empty well. We recommend that each mouse CCL1 standard solution and each sample is measured in duplicate.

Background: CCL1, Chemokine(C-C motif) ligand 1, is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The protein encoded by this gene is structurally related to the CXC subfamily of cytokines. Members of this subfamily are characterized by two cysteines separated by a single amino acid. This cytokine is secreted by activated T cells and displays chemotactic activity for monocytes but not for neutrophils. It binds to the chemokine receptor CCR8.
