This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-GJB4 antibody ( ARP36633_T100). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Background Information: Connexins are homologous four-transmembrane-domain proteins and major components of gap junctions. The GJB4 gene encodes connexin 30.3 (Cx30.3) A mutation in connexin 30.3 is causally involved in erythrokeratodermia variabilis (EKV), a mostly autosomal dominant disorder of keratinization.
Alternative Symbols: EKV, CX30.3
