This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PARP2 Antibody (ARP33757_P050),. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Sujet

Background Information: PARP2 is involved in the base excision repair (BER) pathway, by catalyzing the poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation of a limited number of acceptor proteins involved in chromatin architecture and in DNA metabolism. This modification follows DNA damages and appears as an obligatory step in a detection/signaling pathway leading to the reparation of DNA strand breaks.
Alternative Symbols: ADPRT2, ADPRTL2, ADPRTL3, ARTD2, PARP-2, pADPRT-2
