    Commentaires

This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SILV antibody ( ARP46802_T100). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

    Sujet

Background Information: SILV could be a melanogenic enzyme. It could represent an oncofetal self-antigen that is normally expressed at low levels in quiescent adult melanocytes but overexpressed by proliferating neonatal melanocytes and during tumor growth. Release of the soluble form, ME20-S, it could protect tumor cells from antibody mediated immunity.
