Attributs du produit
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-BPGM antibody (Catalog #: ARP58217_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

Sujet
BPGM belongs to the phosphoglycerate mutase family, BPG-dependent PGAM subfamily. It plays a major role in regulating hemoglobin oxygen affinity as a consequence of controlling 2,3-BPG concentration. It can also catalyze the reaction of EC 5.4.2.1 (mutase) and EC 3.1.3.13 (phosphatase), but with a reduced activity.
