Attributs du produit
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-DCI antibody (Catalog #: ARP48556_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

Sujet
DCI is a member of the hydratase/isomerase superfamily. It is a key mitochondrial enzyme involved in beta-oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. It catalyzes the transformation of 3-cis and 3-trans-enoyl-CoA esters arising during the stepwise degradation of cis-, mono-, and polyunsaturated fatty acids to the 2-trans-enoyl-CoA intermediates. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, but their full-length nature has not been determined. This gene encodes a member of the hydratase/isomerase superfamily.
