This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-FGD3 Antibody. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
FGD3 promotes the formation of filopodia. It may activate CDC42, a member of the Ras-like family of Rho- and Rac proteins, by exchanging bound GDP for free GTP. FGD3 plays a role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton and cell shape.
