Attributs du produit
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-LIAS antibody (Catalog #: ARP48716_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

Sujet
LIAS belongs to the biotin and lipoic acid synthetases family. It localizes in mitochondrion and plays an important role in alpha-(+)-lipoic acid synthesis. It may also function in the sulfur insertion chemistry in lipoate biosynthesis. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the biotin and lipoic acid synthetases family. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the biotin and lipoic acid synthetases family.
