- Sujet
- PINK1 is a serine/threonine protein kinase that localizes to mitochondria. It is thought to protect cells from stress-induced mitochondrial dysfunction. Mutations in this protein cause one form of autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson disease. Recombinant human PINK protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: Serine/threonine-protein kinase PINK1, mitochondrial, BRPK, FLJ27236, PARK6. NCBI no.: NP_115785
